An exciting opportunity to join a well-established, knowledgeable, multidisciplinary therapy team working within a special school.

The Edith Borthwick School is a large special school which caters for learners aged 3-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties including ASD. We aim to deliver functional and integrated therapy across the school working closely with teaching and support staff.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The role would be suited to a newly qualified therapist who is eager to learn, as well as therapists with more experience of working with young people with SEND. Experience of working in a special school setting is preferable but not essential. Applicants must have a relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be HCPC and RCSLT registered.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support staff and learners themselves to develop their communication and help them to reach their full potential. You will join our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team which includes a Senior SLT, specialist SLTs and specialist Occupational Therapist. You will receive CPD opportunities, clinical and peer supervision.
