Assistant Headteacher

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dedicated and inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join a large team of professionals working with learners with a wide range of complex needs including severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, medical needs and autism. Our vision is to enable everyone to reach and go beyond their potential. We are a day special school located in Braintree. We currently have the pleasure of teaching, supporting and learning with 235 amazing young people aged 3-19.

We are looking to appoint reliable, flexible and hardworking relief teaching assistants required as soon as possible to join our team. You'll have the desire or experience to want to work with students with special educational needs. You'll be flexible to be able to work as and when required.

Midday Assistants

 

Band 1 £8.50 per hour

 

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Part-time

Contract Term: Permanent

We are looking to recruit Midday Assistants as soon as possible to supervise children during the lunch time period (11.50 a.m. - 1.20 p.m.)

 

7.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday. £8.50 per hour. Term time only.

 

Our ideal candidate will work well as part of a team, be patient, tolerant, understanding and most importantly enjoy working with children. This is a school for children with special needs and some children display challenging behaviour.

 

This could also, for the right person, lead to joining our team of relief teacher assistants. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience to eventually become a Teaching Assistant.
