Teaching Assistant

Range: Band 2 £9074 - £10,000 per annum

Type: Part-time

Contract Term: Permanent

Teaching Assistant required for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Term time only plus 5 non-pupil days.

 

Edith Borthwick is a Special School catering for pupils and students aged 3 - 19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism.

 

We are looking to appoint a reliable, flexible and hardworking teaching assistant to help support the teaching and learning of students in SchoolPhase, (3 - 14 years). Willingness to work as part of a team and on own initiative essential.

Teaching Assistant required to support Sensory for 25 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Term time only plus 5 non-pupil days.

We are looking to appoint a reliable, flexible and hardworking Teaching Assistant to assist in delivering a sensory programme to students across the whole School.

 

Willingness to work as part of a team and on own initiative essential, also experience of special needs is necessary.

 

Good communication skills and a calm, quiet encouraging manner, is required with the ability to think positively and introduce creative ideas and solutions to problems.

Assistant Caretaker

 

Range: Band 2 £14,097 - £15,535 per annum

Job Description

Edith Borthwick School requires a self-motivated, reliable, multi-skilled, proactive and organised person to assist the Caretaker.

 

Assistant Caretaker required for 37 hours per week. Term time only, 5 non-pupil days plus 2 weeks during school closure periods. Hours to be confirmed, but availability from 7 a.m. desirable.

 

The main duties of this job include security, cleaning, maintenance of the inside and outside environment, liaising with contractors and other duties directed by the Caretaker as required. Qualifications or experience in a trade is desirable.

 

It is essential that you can work effectively as part of a team and you should be able to relate well to students and interact with them in a friendly and positive manner.
